Our team is excited to announce that Building C, Building S, and Building U have achieved LEED® O+M certification as awarded by the US Green Building Council. As part of the SAS Institute Campus in Cary, North Carolina, Building C, S, & U total more than 650,000 ft² of commercial office space that includes more than 1,800 offices, a full service cafeteria, training center and an Executive Briefing Center (EBC) with meeting rooms and auditoriums.
Building C is an existing 291,000 ft², seven (7) story office building, constructed in 2011. The building includes an office tower supporting over 700 offices and an Executive Briefing Center (EBC) with meeting rooms, an auditorium and a full service café. The project has achieved a LEED® EB O+M Silver certification.
Building U is an existing 197,000 ft², seven (7) story office building, constructed in 2002 and supports over 600 offices. The project has achieved a LEED® EB O+M Certified certification.
Building S is an existing 171,000 ft², seven (7) story office building, constructed in 1997 and supports over 500 offices and a 6,000 ft² training center. The project has achieved a LEED® EB O+M Silver certification.
Our team conducted the required ASHRAE Level I building energy assessment for the facilities and assisted with the documentation of several other requirements of the LEED® v3 EB+OM rating system. In addition, our team commissioned the existing building systems and documented and measured the buildings’ ventilation requirements.
