Shane Nault co-presented at Green NC as part of the pre-conference to the NC State Energy Conference.  Green NC was presented by a partnership between USGBC North Carolina and North Carolina Building Performance Association.  The conference had more than 300 attendees that were able to learn from industry experts, meet with leading industry product and service providers, and network with clients, vendors, and partners.

Mr. Nault and Randy Lucas with Lucas Tax + Energy presented on “Tax Incentives that Can Fuel Your Project.”   Key tax incentives enacted over the last several years have focused on encouraging businesses to incorporate energy efficiency into their operational plans.  The presentation shared some key tax incentives and resources that can benefit projects, including recent changes to the tax laws.  The presentation also shared some details on EECBD compliance and implementation by navigating through the tax code and required standards, including some case studies.
