The Newton-Conover Middle School receives the highest LEED® Certification possible, Platinum.  The project was a newly constructed 125,000 ft², three-story middle school .  The new school has classrooms for each of the sixth, seventh and eighth grades, as well as three teacher workrooms, two exceptional children’s classrooms, two computer labs, and one room each for choir, drama, band, art, business keyboarding and a technology lab.

Our team provided LEED® for Schools v2007,  minimal acoustical performance services for the facility. This included a background noise analysis of HVAC systems, analyzing the space reverberation time, and analyzing the envelope STC ratings for 44 core learning spaces.
