Building EnergetiCx provided both Fundamental and Enhanced commissioning to one of Washington DC’s newest apartment complexes. The Novel South Capitol Phase 1 apartments contain 372 units as well as 3,000 square feet of retail space. These luxury apartments also feature various modern amenities and are located within walking distance of various landmarks including Capitol Hill, the Ballpark District, SW Waterfront, and the National Mall. In addition to the convenient features, this 13-story development uses low-flow fixtures, motion sensors in public spaces, and VRF heat pumps in the apartments. It is no surprise that Novel South Capitol Phase 1 has already earned its LEED® Silver Certification. As a result, Building EnergetiCx is recognized for the part it played in the LEED® certification process.
