Environmental Way is a two-story, 70,000 square foot class A office building located in the University Research Park, just north of Charlotte’s center city.  The building is a high tech, LEED Platinum Core and Shell building.  The building is equipped with a  fully automated building automation system controlling a central thermal ice storage system, air cooled scroll chiller, high efficiency condensing boilers, variable air volume air handlers, and terminal units.  The building utilizes efficient lighting fixtures and control strategies.   The plumbing fixtures consist of low flow fixtures.  Building EnergetiCx assisted with the application, documentation  and verification for the building’s recent Energy Star rating of 95.
