Project Description:
Building EnergetiCx provided LEED® commissioning services for the three (3) story building located on the University of South Carolina, Lancaster campus. The building provides additional classroom space for the campus, including multimedia lecture rooms, an art studio, and an outdoor amphitheater as well as offices for professors and administrative support.
This project has achieved a LEED® Silver rating and is the first LEED® Silver Certified building in Lancaster County, South Carolina. The value of commissioning on this project was shown by holding the team accountable for implementing the sequence of operation as designed, and as a result, the building is one of the most energy efficient buildings on campus.
