Project Description:
Building EnergetiCx provided LEED® enhanced commissioning services for this state-of-the-art science lab building that includes well equipped classrooms, science laboratories, faculty and staff offices, practicum areas, and a greenhouse on the top floor. The laboratories serve a variety of disciplines on campus and will become a living lab for students. This project is expecting to receive a LEED® Platinum certification from the USGBC.
Building EnergetiCx experience with science and technology buildings was key for the commissioning role on this project. Throughout the commissioning process our team was able to lead and educate the construction team regarding the complex building systems. Our team was able to ensure that energy saving strategies were implemented correctly through active and technical commissioning.
